Terms & Conditions

Our priority is the wellbeing of all our guests and to ensure they have a comfortable and homely holiday with us at Apple Tree Cattery.

All guests must be fully vaccinated against feline enteritis and feline cat flu, a current vaccination certificate must be shown on arrival and the vaccination card must remain with us for the duration of your cat's holiday.

All boosters must have been given at least 2 weeks prior to boarding.

We reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health on arrival.

We ask that all guests are treated for worms and fleas prior to their holiday, if any guest is found to have fleas or worms the appropriate treatment will be administered and you will be charged accordingly.

We ask that you remove your cat's collar if they normally wear one.

The welfare of our guests is our priority, if your cat becomes ill during their stay, they will be treated by your own vet if possible, or by our local vet. You will be charged accordingly for any treatment received.

A poorly cat will be cared for in our isolation unit for their own comfort and wellbeing of our other guests.

All male cats over the age of 7 months must be neutered.

We feed each guest to their own personal requirements providing your cat(s) with the same food they have at home. Meals are served 2-3 times a day with the exception of kittens and elderly cats who will be fed per their individual needs. Biscuits are supplied all day as well as fresh water. If your cat is on a special diet, we can provide certain dietary foods at no extra cost to yourselves, but in certain circumstances you may have to bring your own, to which no discount will be available - please give us a call to check if we support your cats dietary requirements. Please let us know if your cat has cat milk. For treats, we give chicken, fish, tuna and prawns only if allowed - all freshly prepared.

We accept cats with special dietary needs and those requiring medication.

Viewing of our facilities is very welcome, just give us a call!

We recommend that a sturdy cat carrier is used to transport your cats to and from the cattery and all clasps are checked before departure to and from the cattery as the owner of the cat(s) are responsible for the cat(s) until it they are securely in their suite.

A full comprehensive insurance policy is in place at Apple Tree Cattery but does not cover any pre-existing conditions or that may re-occur.

An administration fee of £20.00 will be charged should you need to change your booking.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that when you cancel your booking with Apple Tree Cattery we are not automatically able to fill that booking again. We therefore ask you to kindly respect our terms and conditions on cancellation, which are as follows:

• Cancellations made within 4 weeks of your date of arrival must be paid in full.
• Deposits are non-refundable.
• Bookings are not transferrable.
• Please be mindful of what you book as changes can't always be made. All days booked will be charged for.
